Request A Quilt Kit
Effective May 17, 2012 we have temporarily suspended shipping quilt kits. We are working through our backlog and will ship the kit requests we currently have, but this may take some time.

If you wish to make and donate quilts from your own fabric please feel free to do so. A tax donation receipt in the amount of $100.00 for each quilt donated will be sent upon request.

If you would like to pick up a kit they will be available at various locations. Currently, Linda Zs Sewing Center has them. The store address is:  1216 E Central Rd., Arlington Heights, IL (847) 394-4590. Additional locations will listed online as they become available.

Patterns are available for download on the Patterns Page.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

For every quilt kit you pick up, we request you send one or more additional quilts from your own fabric stash (brightly colored, kid friendly prints) so we can at least double the number of seriously ill children who will receive quilts. Each quilt you send, after your kit quilt, qualifies as a donation and is tax deductible in the amount of $100.00 per quilt. A receipt for additional quilts will be sent upon request.

Quilts must be machine pieced and machine quilted. Hand quilting or tied quilts cannot be accepted. You will need to supply the batting (low loft, 1/8"-1/4", poly, cotton or poly/cotton blend) and thread for the quilt. It is expected that the kit quilt and your second quilt will be completed and returned within eight weeks of kit arrival. If you do not feel you can complete both quilts within this time frame please wait and order a kit at a later date. You must pay the cost to ship the quilts back to us or use one of our drop off locations (click to view list of locations). If you are donating several quilts and are located in the Chicagoland area we will arrange to pick up the quilts from you to save shipping costs, please call or email for more details.

Instructions, pattern and official labels are also included in the kit.
